Our cute love bug
She loves her tongue and usually smiles with it out. When you play with your tongue, she concentrates really hard and tries to do the same thing.
I haven't updated in a while, but Chloe has been doing great! She is loving life, and we love her in our lives. She is a stinker sometimes, and really loves things the way she wants them. Recently she has decided that she really just loves being around our apartment. My Mom told me I was becoming a hermit, and this really proved it, so I have been trying to get out more.
Brisket, ribs, cornbread, and a side of mashed potatoes.
Chloe did great! We were gone for about 3 hours, and she only cried a little bit. Doug and I are going to try and get out more, so Chloe doesn't become too dependent on me when we are out places. It's funny because while we are at home, she will just play with her toys all day, but then she is getting upset when we are out places. Hopefully going out more will help.
For actual Valentines Day I made Doug some steak, a baked potato. and some broccoli.
And we actually did gifts this year. Doug bought me a knew wedding band (I won't get it until March, but I'm super excited!) and I bought him a new gaming headset and I also scanned all of his mission pictures to make a photobook with them. It will be nice for our kids to have.
I read my friend Daylin's blog and her Mom had a great understanding of Valentines Day. I really hope I can do that too. She made it all about love between family and friends. She would also buy them cute little gifts. I can't wait to start doing that for my kids! Thanks Daylin's mom for the idea!
PS - I just made valentines cookies. A day late, sure, but cookies are cookies :)
