The big news in November is that we got a dog! I have been waiting my entire life for a dog, and finallly, I...I mean, we got one! Her name is Tess and she is a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix. She is beautiful and very well tempered. She is very smart and has learned a lot. She was bell trained in a day, which was very nice for us. She still had accidents, but mainly because she couldn't hold it long enough for us to get upstairs.
Chloe and Tess were instant best friends, and they love playing together. Tess is very gentle with her and doesn't ever bite her.

Thanksgiving:
We had an early Thanksgiving with my siblings this year. The week before, we decided to venture into the world of a real home cooked Thanksgiving dinner made by only us! It was a success! All of the food was sooo yummy!!
The real day of Thanksgiving was pretty low key this year. We always go over to Doug's parents house have his grandparents and Doug's siblings, minus Jenn who is in Texas, and we usually have 1 sometimes 2 of my siblings over. But this year, Jenn was still in Texas, Stacie was in China, Maraina and Danny went to Danny's families house, and Destin went to our Grandparents house in Kaysville. It was still a lot of fun though. I made a couple pies to contribute this year.

This is the longest she has stood their to watch tv, Sesame Street is a winner.
We had a lot of random hang outs with people towards the end of the year. We got to hang out with our good friends Joe and Taraya. They have an adorable "puppy" Magnus. I say "puppy" because he is GIANT! No lies, he is huuge! We have also spent some time with Scott and Wendy, I get to spend once a week with their adorable kiddos while they are both at work. So much fun! Chloe loves to play with them.
December:
December was a fun month. We did a lot of online Christmas shopping and spent much needed money on ourselves. The beginning of December is kind of a blur, but then Christmas came! We had our annual Christmas Eve party over at the Buhler's house. After the party, we opened presents with Phil and Danaca because they were headed over to Dan's families house for Christmas day.
Afterwards we went home to sleep in our own beds. We planned to have Doug's parents and his sister, Stacie over Christmas day for presents and brunch. This planned kind of changed through out the whole night. Before we went to sleep we checked on Chloe, and she was breathing funny. It was weird enough where we called the doctor and talked with a nurse. We each took turns sleeping in a chair with her with a humidifier that my mother in law so kindly brought over at 2 am. The next day we got an appointment at 1130 am, so we went ahead and called everyone for them to come over for the remaining presents and brunch.

Rue:
Our friends Blaine and Daylin went to Miami after Christmas and we got to watch their adorable pup, Rue. She is a Mini Australian Shepard, and at the time she was 9 months old. Tess and Rue were immediate friends.
