9 Months

As of right now, Chloe is closer to 10 months, than 9 months, but I want to make sure that I am keeping track of what she has been doing.

July 25th - 9 Month Appointment
Weight: 18.6 lbs - 55%
Height:  28.5 in - 83%
Head Circ:  17.05 in - 51%

She went in for a check up to see if she was over her sicknesses and for her 9 month appointment.  She was healthy! No sign of the sickness, she just had to complete her antibiotic.

As of right now (9.5 months):  She has 2 teeth, and one that has barely broken through.
She loves to:
walk around things (couches, walls, people, etc.)
walk with walkers
scoot like an inch worm
scoots in a circle on her butt
eat graham crackers
feed herself
make messes
hold toys in her hands
help Mom "clean"
do "touch down"
claps
drink from straws
dance
look in the mirror
eat cupcakes
play with cell phones
read books
drink water
says hi - sometimes
waves
steal Daddy's wallet
cross her legs
sleep with her butt in the air
and last but not least, flirt with strangers.

Over the last 9.5 months, Chloe has grown and grown.  I love seeing it with the laundry baskets.  Here is up to 9 months.

Delaware

My parents were missing their grandbabies so they decided to get them all out there for a trip.  Charisse drove with Stephen and their two girls, and then Chloe and I flew out.  Maraina and Danny were already making a long road trip out of it, so they were there too! Doug was busy being responsible and we missed him very much!

2 Days Overlap
Maraina and Danny had been there for about a week, the Smith's got to Delaware on Sunday, and Chloe and I got there on Monday. When we got there, all of the faux family was there for a dinner.  It was nice to see everyone!  Chloe was a little clingy at first, but got used to everyone after a little bit.

Since the Wihongi's were leaving on Wednesday, on Tuesday we did a fun beach trip.

First time walking on the sand.
The water was a little cold
She was really unsure, but I love my sumo baby.
She gave the best cuddles with the loud waves.
 Stephen skim boarding.
 Aunty Raina with Sammi

Grandma brought a pool so that Chloe could still play in the water
 She loved it
 And loved holding onto things

Chloe loved pulling herself up on Grandma's chair.
 Having fun with Grandma

We were sad to see Maraina and Danny go on Wednesday, but we had a lot of fun when they were with us!  The rest of the time we hung out by Liza's pool, and around the house.  Chloe got really sick, so she slept a lot.  Charisse and my Mom also helped with some sewing projects for me.  I also got to hang out with my best friend Chelsea!!  She lives across the street from my parents, so whenever I go home I hang out with her.  She was working a lot, but she came over almost every night o hang out :) We can go a year without seeing each other and then we see each other and it's like we never were apart.  Aw we are so cute!  I won't ever find another best friend like her!  Love you Chels!

This was one of Chloe's favorite toys.  She found herself in the mirror.

 Mac n Cheese
 Yay toys!

 Pretzels
Like always, she loves jumping.
No clue what she's looking at.
 Playing with Grandma
 First attempts at crawling
But she enjoyed walking around things so much more.
 Liza's pool
 Rocking horse
My sick baby.  Croup, ear infection, and strep.

 She loves hangers.
 Learning to play the piano.
One of my sewing projects.  My mom helped me turn my Dad's old shirt into a skirt!

And of course, I had to bring some Pat's back for Doug!  He was nice enough to share with me.

Even with all of the sickness that went around, we had a lot of fun!  Chloe was a trooper for a being as sick as she was, and I am glad that my Mom and brother were there to help me.  Dalton was so nice and watched her a bunch of times so I could have a break.
