Getting Crafty

My brother in law is getting married soon and I wanted new shoes for the wedding.  While on pinterest I saw this fantastic idea!  Redo shoes that you don't wear! So I had this pair of just plain black pumps and wanted to incorporate yellow into them.  Yellow is one of the wedding colors.  I recruited Raina to help me out.  We went to JoAnns, it's down the street, and bought mod podge and a yard of fabric.  A yard was plenty big for both of our shoes.  It took us a few hours, but they turned out great!

Chloe - 4 Months OId

Chloe turned 4 months old on February 25th. (I'm a little late with this post.  But oh well) Her 4 month check up was on the 27th and it went great!  She is very healthy!

4 Month Stats:
     Height:  25 in - 75th%
     Weight:  13 lbs 12 oz - 41%
     Head Circ: 15.5 in - 17%

She is growing great with the curve! And every visit, she has went up in the percentiles.

Things she knows/can do/likes:

• She knows who we are.  She is definitely a Momma's girl, but will go to Doug too.  She is slowly getting over her anxiety with other people.
• She got worried with Doug when she saw his hair cut.  He had been growing out his hair and then we cut it really short.  She gave him the "who the heck are you" look.
• She likes to come shooting with us.  She wore ear muffs - safety first.
• She is sleeping through the night.  Depending on the night it is about 9-12 hours.  She always goes down between 8 and 9.
• Babbles like crazy.  She loves having conversations with Doug.  They will talk for 5 minutes about anything and everything.  Well Doug talks and makes it sound interesting, while Chloe babbles to him.  haha.
• She giggles.  She thinks fart noises, and funny faces are the best.  She also likes to bounce on the bed or couch.
• Loves to jump in her jumper.  We are training her so she will walk by 10 months.  She needs to be able to walk for my brothers wedding, so we are training her like Rocky.
• Loves eating solid food.  She first started with rice, and she was NOT a fan, so we tried oatmeal and she gobbled it up.  Other random things we have given her and she has liked are: guacamole, tortilla chips, muffins, bread, clementines, and cheerios (they have to be in fourths though.  haha).  I want to start giving her other baby food this week to see how she does.  She can't get enough of the oatmeal though.  In between bites she raises her arms, opens her mouth, and says "oooh ooh ooh."
• She has rolled over once!  She did that on March 7th, and rolled from her back to her belly.
